The members of Brooke Chambers have recognised experience in the UK and in most regions of the world; in particular, Central, East & South-East Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe. As well having expertise in dispute resolution, principally through international arbitration and mediation, our members have been responsible for drafting national laws and international treaties for a wide variety of common law and civil States.

Brooke Chambers also has a panel of associates, drawn from the UK and abroad, who may accept instructions to sit as arbitrators or mediators, or to advise on, or appear as expert witnesses in respect of, international law and the law of foreign jurisdictions where this is within their area of expertise.

The barristers and Associates at Brooke Chambers regularly advise corporates, individuals, States and international organisations. They also teach at postgraduate level, regularly speak at international conferences and publish widely on their specialist topics, which include the implications for business and commerce of Brexit and of China’s ‘One Belt, One Road Initiative’
